The Castle Pines Connection would like to thank Sarah Bermingham for her contributions as an intern writer the last five years. We wish her well as she heads off to college.
Sarah began writing as an intern when she was a student at Rocky Heights Middle School and contributed articles throughout her high school years at Rock Canyon High School (RCHS). Sarah will be attending Colorado State University (CSU) in the fall, studying biomedical engineering and biological and chemical engineering, taking on a five-year double-major program.
Sarah covered events for the RCHS band and orchestra and wrote engaging stories about many RCHS activities, including business, science, sport and study-abroad programs, to name a few. Sarah enjoyed covering school-wide events like Wish Week and the “Kindness is Contagious” campaign, as well as community service stories.
Sarah is a very strong student and said she loved all her classes at RCHS, especially biology, English and orchestra. She has played the violin for many years, loves to ski, and is usually reading several books at once.
Sarah said she is thinking of applying for a job with the Rocky Mountain Collegian, CSU’s newspaper. Sarah said, “I’ll see how it fits into my schedule, but I think that would be super cool if I can pull it off!”
