Insulate Colorado funds available through March

Residents of Douglas County have until March 31 to take advantage of Insulate Colorado rebates, available to homeowners for insulation installation.
Homeowners may apply for a rebate of 20 percent off the cost of installation of either attic or exterior wall insulation and basic recommended air sealing measures, or $300 maximum per home, whichever is less.
Homeowners in both incorporated and unincorporated Douglas County are eligible, however homeowners who have Xcel Energy as their natural gas provider can apply for the rebate directly through Xcel Energy.
Rebates are available for insulation installed by March 31. A rebate will not be given for new construction and homeowners must use an eligible contractor who has had the GEO program training. Copies of all contractor invoices and official insulation cards must be submitted with the homeowner rebate request form.
