Resident Susan Lee (creator of the Sock it to ‘Em sock campaign) has again partnered with MiYO Cafe in Castle Pines Village to do great things and give away free stuff.

For the first 40 families who have a preschooler age 2-5 that come into MiYO Cafe on Saturday August 11 between 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Lee will be giving a free copy of her award-winning “I Believe In Me!” DVD. Additionally, MiYO will be giving one free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal and there will be copies of activity sheets that the kids can do while they are eating or they can take it home with them.

“We all want to feel like we’re part of a community and often for preschoolers, they’re “tagging” along wherever it is mom or dad want to go. Donna Stern, owner of MiYO Cafe and I thought it’d be fun to give an opportunity where the youngest amongst us were the focus. It’s our pleasure to be able to give back to the community we’re a part of.”

Lee’s DVD, which is geared toward preschoolers ages 2-5, teaches character, cooperation and confidence and subscribes to the belief that emotional intelligence developed in the formative years creates higher self esteem, which leads to more happiness, success, and confidence. Kids learn how to identify their emotions, express their feelings and utilize positive, social and emotional life skills.
