HOA2’s second annual fall festival
Residents had a fantastic time at the second annual HOA2 Fall Festival on Sunday, October 8. This event took place at the clubhouse and was organized by the neighborhood social committee chair, Rudy Will.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., families enjoyed a variety of activities: face painting, a petting zoo, a food truck and 300 pumpkins at a painting station for kids to decorate.
The festival’s highlight was the chili cookoff, where talented cooks competed for a cash prize. Attendees had the chance to try different chili recipes by purchasing a $5 tasting ticket. This ticket not only allowed them to enjoy the various chilis but also gave them the power to cast their votes for their personal favorites.
Cash Barnett and his grandma, Robbie Barnett, were the winners, impressing everyone with their delicious recipe.
The festival celebrated community spirit and unity by showing how wonderful it is when neighbors come together to enjoy the changing seasons.
