Hear the Metro District Candidates Speak at the April Master Association Meeting

Mark the calendar and be sure to attend the Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association Meeting on April 20 at 7 p.m. located in the Community Center, 7402 Yorkshire Drive. CPN residents will have an opportunity to hear the candidates running for the three open positions on the CPN Metro District Board of Directors. Each candidate will have the chance to speak at this meeting.

There is one 2-year term and two 4-year terms open for election. Candidates running for the 2-year term include: Laurie O’Hara Torres, Galen R. Crowder and Jonette Brown Eyes. Candidates running for the two 4-year terms include: Bruce J. Thompson, Ted Lohr and Michael Gersack. To read an overview of the candidates qualifications visit the CPN Metro District website.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 2. Voting will be held at the CPN Community Center. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. To obtain an absentee ballot, please contact Election Official Janet Burnham at 303-688-850, ext. 12, or email janet@cpnmd.org. All absentee ballots must be received by Tuesday, May 2.

Note: Hidden Pointe Residents are members of the Green Valley Water and Sanitation District. Green Valley contracts to receive water from the Metro District. Hidden Pointe residents are not eligible to vote in the Metro District election. There is no election set for Green Valley in 2006.
