The ladies 9-hole golf league at The Country Club at Castle Pines was thrilled to host its 20th annual Rally for the Cure golf tournament to raise money in support of breast cancer.
Christina Staley, herself a breast cancer survivor, co-chaired the event and remarked, “It was so much fun! We had games on every hole and 18 raffle items. It was such a great get-together for such a great cause.”
Forty-one women participated in this event, which raised a little more than $10,000 – more than double what they raised last year! The tournament was followed by a luncheon that featured guest speakers and an opportunity to make further financial donations. All of the money that was raised was donated to the Colorado chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
