Give where you live in Castle Pines on December 5
The Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce is planning a party with a purpose this December 5 for guests to give where they live on Colorado Gives Day this year.
Each year, the Chamber supports its nonprofit members by hosting a holiday party at the beautiful Haven in the Pines in the Village at Castle Pines. “This event is by far my favorite of the year because it allows for our Chamber to directly support our nonprofit members who work tirelessly to help those in need in our community and beyond” said Tina Hansen, Castle Pines Chamber executive director.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the participating nonprofits. All current nonprofit members are invited and given the opportunity to set up a booth at the event so that interested parties can find out more information or give a donation.
Event tickets are $50 and they include wine, beer, appetizers, dessert, a hot chocolate bar and valet parking. Tickets go on sale on November 1 and the event has a limited capacity and it sells out quickly.
Colorado Gives Day is the largest 24-hour online giving movement in the state, bringing in more than $415 million since its inception in 2010.
