Girl Scouts level up

Girl Scout sisters Abigail (16) and Evie (13) Reynolds have achieved their goals of earning two of the highest awards in Girl Scouting. Abigail officially became a Gold Award Girl Scout ina February and Evie earned her Silver Award in October.

Abigail addressed the issue of underrepresentation of women in engineering for her Gold Award project. She organized an Engineering Expo at Aspen View Academy and created a website, Gearing 4 Engineering, with information and resources.

For her Silver Award project, Evie painted 16 canvases that decorate the walls of Aspen View Academy with inspirational and positive messages to spread kindness throughout their school community.
