Castle Pines Girl Scout Troop 65517 took the opportunity to make some friends and play a little bingo at Legacy Village of Castle Pines. The girls spent an afternoon with residents calling out letters and numbers, searching for a straight, layered cake, baseball diamond and even a blackout bingo.
“The Castle Pines community is full of good neighbors who enjoy connecting with one another. The time the girls spent with the residents of Legacy Village was a reflection of that community spirit,” said Kaylee Scott, troop co-leader. “It was such a joy to watch the interactions between neighbors and new friends that span generations.”
The girls assisted the players setting up their cards and entering each player’s name for a raffle drawing. The troop brought prizes for the winners and when a player called out “BINGO!” the winner could choose from a variety of Valentine’s Day-themed items. They filled glasses with water and helped wherever else they were needed.
