Get your fresh on at a farmers market

Farmers markets have many charms, from chatting with farmers about their freshly-picked produce and with artisans about their unique goods, to enjoying all the sights, sounds and aromas while strolling among the booths. Some markets have live music, creating a fun atmosphere and some offer homemade food to enjoy while you shop.

There are many farmers markets to choose from, so try a few knowing you are supporting local farmers and artisans. Bring home local honey, bread or soaps and candles. Instead of getting the usual salad fixings, try something new or ask the farmer for suggestions.
