Gala raises funds for the arts
Tri Arts Project (TAP) hosted its inaugural fundraising gala, The Art of Giving, October 14 at the Barn at Rancho Vaya Con Dios in Castle Rock.
The western-themed event was attended by town officials, local artists and patrons, and raised $65,000 toward the goal of creating a place in Castle Rock for the education, presentation and creation of art.
More than 25 artists and 30 businesses contributed, alongside event sponsors. This milestone is the first of many toward TAP’s mission of building an Arts Center in Castle Rock.
TAP focuses on helping aspiring and current artists tap into their creativity and build connections through arts education and community events. TAP is a transformative space for adults, teens and families facilitated through the education, creation and presentation of the arts.
TAP Gala President Dana Frazee stated, “The atmosphere of camaraderie and shared passion for the arts was truly magical on the night of the gala. We witnessed the power of unity, as artists, patrons and community members came together to celebrate creativity and support our cause. It was a momentous occasion that will forever be etched in our hearts.”
