The Crisis Center provides programs and services to those living in Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties. Funds raised from this event will ensure that the life-saving programs and services offered by the Crisis Center remain free of charge for adult and child victims of domestic violence.
Statistics show that every nine seconds a woman is beaten or assaulted. Men are also subject to domestic violence. Studies even suggest that up to 10 million children witness some form of domestic abuse annually.
