Fashion, fun and food at the Castle Pines Golf Club

Dianne McOmie is in her first year with the garden club and is enjoying being the photographer for the yearly events.  “I thought the fashion show was lovely,” McOmie remarked.  “I loved that we used members for the models, and the store they chose for the clothing line was great.”

Beautiful fashions, good food and a gorgeous day at the Castle Pines Golf Club were enjoyed by the 78 women who gathered to celebrate another year of camaraderie with the Castle Pines Village Garden Club (CPVGC).  This annual luncheon and fashion show, now in its twentieth year, is an event that the club members look forward to all year long.

In keeping with tradition, club members modeled gorgeous dresses and evening wear from Soignee Elegant Attire, located in old-town Littleton.  The fashion show was followed by a delicious lunch.  Club president Terri Sunderrmann remarked, “I personally enjoy the opportunity to be in the golf club with its amazing service, food and views.  And of course, seeing our very own members modeling the latest fashions is so much fun!”

Members of the CPVGC served as models for the fashion show, which featured only dresses and evening gowns.

The CPVGC began in 1994 and brings together women who enjoy gardening, socializing and giving back.  The club hosts numerous events throughout the year from June to May, and it is always open to new members who need not live in Castle Pines Village.  For more information about the CPVGC, visit www.cpvgc.org.
