Evening strolls through historic graveyards

On October 14 from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., tour the historic grave sites in Cedar Hill Cemetery with members of the Castle Rock Historical Society (CRHS) who will portray some of the local people in our past history. Cedar Hill was founded in 1875 and contains the remains of pioneers significant in the early history of Castle Rock and Douglas County. Refreshments will be served following the tour. The tour is free, and reservations are not required.
The CRHS is having an evening walk through the Bear Cañon Cemetery in Sedalia on October 28 at 5 p.m. Located by St. Philip-in-the-Field Episcopal Church at 397 North Perry Park Road, the church and cemetery were founded in 1872 and were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Refreshments will be served following the tour. The tour is free, and reservations are not required.
