As part of its speaker series, the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce hosted new Douglas County School District Superintendent Thomas S. Tucker, Ph.D. to discuss the facts surrounding the funding issues and the ongoing needs of the school district.

The presentation was an open dialogue with the audience, as Tucker reviewed the $40 million mill levy override and $250 million bond that the Douglas County School District Board of Education voted in August to place on the November 2018 ballot.
