While remote learning certainly has been a change for American Academy (AA), the students, their families and teachers have embraced the change. Although everyone was learning from home school, announcements continued on Monday and Friday, delivering yearbook order reminders, local restaurant and small business events, birthdays and a weekly character trait challenge. Additionally, to keep morale going, AA announced weekly Wednesday spirit days. The AA community will be participating in fun dress-up days throughout the rest of the school year with themes like backwards day, crazy hair day and AA spirit wear day.
