Easier Access to I-25 Planned

Plans for an alternative access road from The Meadows in Castle Rock to U.S. 85 and I-25 are still underway. The Town of Castle Rock is currently analyzing two potential road alignments, Castlegate and Atrium. Both new roads would be located south of Castle Pines Village and north of the Outlets at Castle Rock, and would create a much needed alternate access and egress into The Meadows. Considerations in the project include relocating existing Union Pacific railroad tracks, potentially restricting access on Happy Canyon Road, conducting an environmental assessment, and evaluating project costs and funding sources.
