This annual event helps the Denver Dumb Friends League raise money to care for thousands of homeless and abandoned animals. The 2-mile walk will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 9 a.m. at Washington Park in Denver. Refreshments, activities and pet-friendly merchandise will be on hand. New to the event this year, the Denver Area Veterinarian Medical Society (DAVMS) will be on hand to microchip dogs for a small fee. Walkers without dogs are welcome to join the fun, too.
