Student open house: Wednesday, August 14 DCS Montessori will hold a student open house on Wednesday, August 14. This is a chance for new students to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and drop off school supplies. Tentative times are below; actual times will be finalized by August 5.
Primary students new to classrooms: Noon to 1 p.m.
New lower elementary students: 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
New upper elementary students: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
New middle school students: Noon to 3 p.m.
Back to school gathering for parents: Thursday, August 15
A parents-only back to school gathering is planned for 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 in student classrooms. This adult-only event will last more than one hour and will include typical day overviews, the Montessori teaching method, and an opportunity for questions and answers.
