DC Dolphins jump in “The Tank”

The DC Dolphins, a Castle Rock-based youth sports league that sponsors programs in baseball, volleyball, basketball, football and cheerleading, hosted a grand opening celebration for its new facility “The Tank” last month. The Tank will now serve as a home base for the league, with offices for staff and indoor practice facilities.

DC Dolphins Youth Sports is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to the development of young athletes throughout Douglas County. As one of the largest and the fastest growing sports organizations in the region, DC Dolphins remains devoted to the youth and to the community. DC Dolphins has been in existence for close to 30 years and participates in cooperation with the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL), the largest sports league in Colorado.

“This new facility gives us a place for everyone,” said Chris Marrs, DC Dolphins president. “It provides a gathering place and gives us a central location to distribute information, talk to players and parents, and meet together.”
