Date Set for Annual Teacher Kick-Ball Game
The teachers of Buffalo Ridge and Timber Trail will face off once again in the annual teacher kick-ball game. Focusing on fun, this event lets students cheer on their teachers, principals and staff. The game will be held in the Rock Canyon High School gym January 26, 2006, at 7:30 p.m.
At 6 p.m., Buffalo Ridge will host a community chili cook-off and dessert baking contest before the game. Those entering either contest need to have their dishes for judging dropped off at the school by 4 p.m. The cost for dinner includes chili, hot dogs, nachos, a dessert and a drink. Two dollars per person will be collected at the door. Awards will be given for the top three chili recipes and desserts.
Always a huge hit in the community, this fundraiser helps raise money for programs at both schools.
