These fifth grade students celebrate the evening together attending their last Timber Trail Elementary Daddy Daughter Dance.

Timber Trail Elementary (TTE) daughters and dads dressed the part for the annual Daddy Daughter Dance held in February. The school’s halls and gym transformed into the biggest fiesta with Latin-inspired decorations and traditional beats that brought TTE daughters and dads out on the dance floor.

In addition to a night of dancing, TTE holds a silent auction during the event to help raise funds in support of the work the parent teacher organization performs for the school. Gift baskets and handpainted totes by TTE teachers were a few of the many available items for auction. One student favored the Miller Activity Complex trampoline treat basket. It had everything one could want for a day out at the MAC, including a 10-punch card, trampoline socks and jumping treats. Parents favored the date night basket which included a $25 gift certificate to Pino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar and a bottle of Palermo wine, along with two passes to the Comedy Works.
