CPN Master Association welcomes new member

Shelley Hamilton Bruer

by Terri Wiebold

While the Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association had big shoes to fill with the departure of community advocate and City Council member Jennifer Havercroft, her replacement comes with a closet of more than 600 options.

“Those who know me well will always comment on my shoes, which can be labeled a collection or obsession,” said new board member Shelley Hamilton Bruer. “At the peak, I had over 700 pairs.”

Hamilton Bruer’s work resume is as impressive as her shoe collection, including her current position as Global Senior Program Manager at Cisco Systems and her 15+ years experience in trade show management.

Hamilton Bruer said she joined the Master Association Board of Directors because, “With the current economic conditions coupled with CPN being a new city, as homeowners, we need to be aware and active.

As the cliche goes, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem,” she stated. “Unlike many other neighborhoods across the country, CPN is a much better position.”

“As a Master HOA Board Member and on behalf of the over 3200 homeowners, I look forward to working with the City of CPN, Metro Board, Douglas County etc. to further our community,” she continued.

Hamilton can be reached at shleca@hotmail.com.
