Carla Kenny, Community Events Coordinator for the Castle Pines North Master Association, has announced a series of fun new events for residents and their families this year.
In addition to the popular Easter Egg Hunt and a repeat of last year’s well-received Holiday Carriage Rides, the Association this year will also present:
Wine Tasting, Movie in the Park, and Concert in the Park.
Be sure to mark your calendars for these brand new events!
Wine Tasting
Adults are invited to a Wine Tasting Event on Friday, June 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the CPN Community Center on Yorkshire Drive.
One-hundred tickets will be sold in advance at $20 each. (An additional date may be added if there is a large response.) As with the Carriage Rides, reservations can be made on-line at www.cpnhoa.org, beginning on April 15. Your printed confirmation will be exchanged for tickets at a location to be named soon.
Highlands Wine Seller, located at Quebec and Lincoln, promises a fun and educational evening. Food will be provided by area eateries.
Movie in the Park
Coyote Ridge Park will be the site of the showing of the classic movie, “The Wizard of Oz,” on Saturday, June 25. The free event will begin at about 7:30 p.m., with a costume parade and air castles for the kids. At dusk, the movie will begin on a giant outdoor screen. Concessions will be sold, but residents are invited to bring their own picnics, along with chairs and/or blankets.
Concert in the Park
Coyote Ridge Park will be the site of a performance by Reckless Abandon during a concert on Sunday, July 31, at 6 p.m. Residents may bring their blankets or chairs, picnics and beverages to this free outdoor concert. Concessions will be sold, and air castles will give the kids a place to burn off some energy.
Other popular events will continue. The Community Garage Sale is set for May 20 and 21. Also, the Holiday Carriage Rides will return this year, due to popular demand. This year’s rides will take place on December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14.
