Community master landscape plan

American Design & Landscape has been awarded a one-year construction contract on the first phase of the City of Castle Pines North Metro District Master Landscape Plan. Construction began in May and is scheduled for completion on July 4.

There are four areas included in the first phase of the project: North Entrance to the city (on Monarch Boulevard, north of Serena Avenue); East Entrance to the city (Castle Pines Parkway, east of Yorkshire); West Entrance of the city (roundabout on Daniels Park Road); and the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden (Monarch Boulevard). Various plant materials to be used include Colorado Green Moss, Rounded River Granite, boulders, trees, shrubs, grasses, perennial shrubs, and annual flowers.

The four-year Master Landscape Plan was developed to create a unique and distinctive identity for Castle Pines North. A specially formed advisory committee representing the CPNMD Board of Directors, the City Council, the Master Association, and citizens of Castle Pines North have worked with Norris Design on the project.
