Coming soon to the City of Castle Pines

Douglas County Libraries recently launched a multi-year campaign to fund and build three new libraries, one of which is in the City of Castle Pines. The City purchased the land for a combined city offices and library. The new library is scheduled to open in 2016.
To celebrate the future library location, a temporary and free “Little Library” will be installed on the property at Village Square Lane and Village Square Terrace on Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m.
The Little Library is a “take a book, return a book” concept where people in the community can gather and share books 24/7, as well as get information about the new library. It is a weatherproof wooden box installed on a post and decorated for the Castle Pines community.
Join city and library staff members for this community dedication – all ages welcome!
