Come party at Bar Double F Ranch in Larkspur

By Lynne Marsala Basche

The Castle Pines Rotary is excited to introduce BBQ, Brews & Banjos.  This family-friendly event is August 23 from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Bar Double F Ranch in Larkspur and is sure to be a toe-tapping good time.

Spend a relaxing summer afternoon enjoying delicious food and a thirst-quenching craft beer and wine garden while listening to Grass It Up, an award-winning bluegrass band.  Just try to stop yourself from getting up and dancing!  Kids are bound to enjoy bounce houses, face painting and pony rides – and they will, no doubt, want to show off their dancing skills.

Tickets are $25 for adults and children nine and older and include Texas-style barbecue featuring brisket, pork and ribs, baked beans, a side and a non-alcoholic drink.  Children younger than nine will enjoy a hotdog, chips and a drink for $10.  There will also be concession sales for three varieties of beer and wine.

Proceeds from BBQ, Brews & Banjos benefit the Douglas County Sheriff’s Y.E.S.S. program and the youth programs of The Rotary Club Foundation of Castle Pines.  (Y.E.S.S. stands for Youth Education and Safety in Schools and is a collaborative partnership with law enforcement, schools, and the community to develop life skills for youth.)

Come out for a little barbecue, some beer, and great music and make memories with friends old and new.  For more information and to purchase tickets, visit http://bbqbrewsandbanjos.myevent.com.
