Collaborative Impact: A Thriving Douglas County Community
The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) will host its inaugural symposium, Collaborative Impact: A Thriving Douglas County Community. Area nonprofits, donors and businesses are invited to attend on Friday, April 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Conference Center at Ridgegate, located at 9977 Sky Ridge Avenue, Suite 401in Lone Tree.
The Symposium will feature leaders of successful Colorado nonprofits, for-profit companies and economic development and governmental organizations discussing the valuable impact that philanthropic partnerships and effective collaboration have on a strong and thriving community in Douglas County.
The three panels will include:
Nonprofit toolbox – Fundraising trends, engaging with your board, marketing and running your nonprofit like a business.
Best practices in professional services – Generational wealth, donor-advised funds, trust and estate giving, legal landscape and real estate and stock gifts.
Role of philanthropy – Funding, innovation and sustainability and the benefits of collaboration.
