Castle Pines Community Church

Meets at Buffalo Ridge Elementary;

Services at Castle Pines Community Church are held each Sunday at 10 a.m. and feature a mixture of traditional and contemporary worship.

The summer schedule, Memorial Day through Labor Day, offers worship service, children’s programs, and nursery available at 9:30 a.m. Worship services are a blend of traditional and contemporary styles and music.

The Childrens’ Ministry of CPCC will offer a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children ages five through fifth grade. “Power Lab” is the theme. VBS will be at Buffalo Ridge Elementary School the week of June 23-27 and 29. Monday through Friday VBS will be held from 9 a.m. until noon. On Sunday, June 29, the final program will be at 9:30 a.m. with a free picnic lunch provided for kids, parents and all visitors. Registration for VBS can be done online: www.castlepineschurch.org. CPCC has a new youth pastor, Joe Meverden. “Starting this summer, ‘Castle Pines Youth’ kicks off with a number of great events geared towards helping teenagers connect with other teens in the area to make a difference in their lives and in our community,” said Meverden. Christ the King Presbyterian Church

Meets at DCS Montessori School;

Family worship begins each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and includes Kid’s Church.

Christ the King is also offering VBS this summer, in partnership with Epiphany Lutheran Church in Castle Rock. VBS is open to children who are at least three years old through fifth grade and will be held from 9 a.m. until noon on June 23-27 at Epiphany Lutheran, 550 E. Wolfensburger Road in Castle Rock.

God’s Grace Community Church

God’s Grace partners with Open Door Youth Gang Alternatives, an organization that works with at-risk youth and their families by providing positive and structured activities, family support, and intervention in gang culture and violence. “We serve at the after-school program, summer camp and other activities. This summer, high school students will lead weekly Bible studies for elementary and middle-school students and other participants will serve at various recreational activities,” said Claudia Larson, Hospitality Minister at God’s Grace.

Two mission trips are scheduled. In June, youth and adult missionaries will be serving the lonely and poor in Booneville, Mississippi, and in July youth grades six through nine will travel to Rapid City, South Dakota to do missions work there.

Solid Life Christian Center

Solid Life will have a special Father’s Day service on

Sunday, June 15, at 10 a.m. The service will feature
special music, a tribute to all dads, and a free gift to dads in attendance.

Solid Life is also privileged to sponsor the concessions for the Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration for the City of Castle Pines North. The church will offer hot dogs, chips, drinks, watermelon and cotton candy at this exciting event.
