Castle Pines Academy has reopened with a new owner and new name, HighPointe Academy.

There is a new name and owner at the child care center at 81 Max Drive on the northwest corner of Castle Pines Parkway and Lagae Road – HighPointe Academy. Ray Verlinde and his wife, Laura Lee, have expanded their childcare footprint beyond their original center located in Castle Rock that they opened in 2016.

As a Christian-based center, HighPointe offers programs from infants through Pre-K. There is also before-and-after school care for school-aged children through 13 years old with language, sports and art enrichment programs. In addition, HighPointe offers camps to assist with child care during summers, as well as fall, holiday, and spring breaks.

The Castle Pines location been open for just over a month. Verlinde said he is looking forward to having more time to focus on the children and families in his center rather than working behind the scenes in the back office.

The facility is currently welcoming new families.
