Christ Lutheran Church Starts Second Campus
Christ Lutheran Church, 8997 S. Broadway, has expanded and will begin worship at its second site at Rocky Heights Middle School at 11033 Monarch Blvd.
Member and visitors will begin worshipping at the new site on Sunday, Sept. 12.
“Since our founding in 1985, we have grown to more than 1900 members,” says David Jensen, senior pastor for Christ Lutheran. “To meet the needs of residents in the south metro area, our church leaders committed last year to the expansion of our ministry through the addition of this second site for worship.”
Pastor Joseph Hess will be the developing pastor. “When we begin worship at Christ Lutheran Church East,” reports Pastor Hess, “we will offer worship at 9 a.m., followed by fellowship and Sunday school for all ages. Other education and fellowship activities, including Confirmation classes for middle high school students, will continue at the Broadway location.”
