Castle Pines Run Wild event

Information provided by the City of Castle Pines; photo by Terri Wiebold

City of Castle Pines Community Development Director Sam Bishop with his daughter and a member of South Metro Fire Rescue Authority, who came to the “rescue” and sprayed runners to cool them off as they began the annual color run.

More than 300 runners finished the 4- and 9-mile timed events, and overall attendance topped 500 at the 3rd Annual Run Wild in Castle Pines.

Thanks to the event sponsors and all the vendors who came out and shared their wares. Special thanks to Councilmember Tera Radloff and volunteer Wendy Ingraham for putting on such a fun community event!

Visit www.castlepinesconnection.com to view a complete slide show of the day’s events, including the bench dedication for Trey McCleery (see related story page 18).
