Castle Pines North Resident Raises Money for Hurricane Katrina Victims

Images of suffering and desperation coming from the states ravished by Hurricane Katrina have affected everyone in the United States, including here in Castle Pines North. Many are left asking, what can we do? As June Uralli, a CPN resident said, “I wish I had more to give.”

In answer to this need, Uralli has taken it on to raise money for the victims. Over the Labor Day weekend there will be a collection box at the HOA2 pool, 7306 Oxford Drive, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. beginning Saturday, September 3 through Monday, September 5. On Tuesday Uralli will donate the funds to the National Red Cross in the name of Castle Pines North. Anyone who is unable to make it to the pool can drop donations off at 7123 Turweston Lane. If every resident gave just $1.00 think of how many lives could be helped.

Neighborhood’s interested in starting their own collection for the victims of Hurricane Katrina can post their information on the Castle Pines North Master Association website by sending an email to webmaster@cpnhoa.org.

Check back at www.cpnhoa.org for further information.
