Castle Pines North Heads Back to School
by Lane Roberts
School buses are already out on the streets of Castle Pines North (CPN). On July 7, Timber Trail Elementary switched to a four-track year-round calender and welcomed more than 600 students back to school. Buffalo Ridge will remain on a traditional calendar this year.
DCS Montessori School, Rocky Heights Middle School, and Rock Canyon High School will open doors to the new school year on August 14. Students at Buffalo Ridge Elementary will head back on August 16.
American Academy, a charter school founded by a group of local CPN families, will begin its second year on August 14 at its temporary location in Lone Tree.
Information about area schools can be sent to editor@cpnhoa.org.
