Castle Pines North Easter Egg Hunt Draws Largest Crowd Ever

by Scott Lasher

The largest crowd ever to participate in the annual Castle Pines North Easter Egg Hunt filled their colorful baskets to the brim with eggs and prizes at Coyote Ridge Park on April 3. The event was sponsored by Solid Life Christian Center.

Over 15,000 candy-filled eggs and 1,000 other prizes blanketed the park and were quickly gobbled up as kids from ages 1 to 11 swarmed the field to collect their Easter treasure. The large crowd brought an excitement that filled the early morning air.

“This event is one that really brings our community together,” SLCC Lead Pastor Russ Stutzman said. “We really enjoy being able to come together with our neighbors and share the message of Easter like this with our community.”

The weather turned out great for the event, and while the wind was blustery, the sun was out, and families flocked to the park to participate in the well-loved event in the CPN community.

After the kids hunt, parents participated in their own hunt, and eggs were filled with free manicures and pedicures, childcare services, and other prizes from local business. One egg even had a $100 bill as a prize.

At the end of the event, it was clear the annual hunt was a huge success and many residents voiced positive feedback.
