Castle Pines North Celebrates July 4th
The streets of Castle Pines North were teaming with brightly decorated wagons, bikes, scooters, strollers, and pets on Monday July 4th, all in celebration for the Nation’s birthday. Many of CPN’s neighborhood HOAs promote this holiday as an opportunity to bring neighbors together and have fun.
Celebrations were happening throughout the day. Many parades hit the streets in the morning hours complete with fire trucks and lemonade stands. Thanks to Linda Knight, residents could also take a ride in the Remax hot air balloon at Buffalo Ridge Elementary. From 100 feet in the air, the balloon gave a peaceful view of the neighborhood below. The fun continued at local pools with highly contested water games for all ages. And what summer picnic would be complete without fried chicken?
Throughout the evening, neighbors were grilling and getting together in cul-de-sacs, lighting sparklers, and enjoying the day. As the evening wore down many residents enjoyed several fireworks displays throughout the Metro area.
