The 2015 annual Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) banquet could arguably be the most fun-filled banquet in the Chamber’s six-year history. This year’s theme was “Under the Big Top.” Chamber staff, members, and guests dressed in colorful clown, ringmaster, and similar circus-theme attire and Cielo at Castle Pines (this year’s venue) was transformed into a festive big top atmosphere.
Chamber members enthusiastically decorated their dining tables with dazzling circus-theme embellishments with the “Best Decorated Table” award going to The Castle Pines Connection. Guests were treated to a juggler, a balloon sculptor, a silent and live auction, and a delicious buffet dinner from Relish Catering and Events.
Congratulations to “Business Person of the Year” Wayne Ruegge, CPA, PC. Greg and Yolanda Bruce (BYG Promotions), Wendell Cummings (Aflac), Angie Norkus (Norkus Flooring), and Victor Torres (Simple Website Services) received “Gratitude” awards for their support of the Chamber. Thanks to an outpouring of appreciation from colleagues, friends, and neighbors, Joan Millspaugh was awarded the “Citizen of the Year” award for her longtime contributions to the Castle Pines community, including the Castle Pines Library, Castle Pines Arts and Cultural Foundation, and the Castle Pines North Master Association.
Special thanks to Chamber staff members Carla Kenny and Sharon Kollmar (and their families) – as well as the banquet committee – for making this a celebration to “top” all others!
