The Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and awards ceremony celebrated local businesses and individuals in a virtual event that included a pre-taped Academy Awards presentation that recognized these outstanding organizations and people in the community.

The winners of the 2021 Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards include: Large Business of the Year – Legacy Village; Small Business of the Year – Castle Pines Family Practice and Urgent Care; Business Person of the Year – Sarah Phillips, Compass real estate; Nonprofit of the Year – Run to Change Lives; and Community Impact Award Winner – City of Castle Pines.

The event included remarks from outgoing Chairman Joe Roos, welcome comments from incoming Chairwoman Katie James, a 2020 recap and a look ahead to the coming year. “It is an honor and a privledge to serve as chairwoman of the board,” said James, an attorney at Folkestad Fazekas Barrick & Patoile, PC. “We are all hoping that 2021 will be a great year with better things to come. No matter what the Chamber has had thrown at it, it has been able to adapt and we plan to handle 2021 with the same adaptability,” she continued. There was also a formal vote and ratification of three new board members.

The Chamber’s mission is to unite and promote commerce, civic leadership and community.
