Castle Pines Athletics wraps up soccer season

Information provided by Lane Roberts, Castle Pines Athletics

Castle Pines Athletics recently wrapped up the spring soccer season. The local league, which offers organized outdoor recreation to children ages four and older, had 20 teams this spring.

“It was the largest soccer season on record for Castle Pines Athletics,” said league manager Emily Bishop. “Without our volunteer coaches, this program would not work. We are so grateful to these parents for stepping up to coach Castle Pines North’s children and making this our best soccer season ever.”

Special thanks to the following soccer coaches:

Preschool coaches – Jeff DePasse, Joe Fijol, Scott Hansen, Rob Matson, Jeff Stotler, Steve Talus, Rob Terry, and Justin Webster.

Kindergarten coaches – Scott Davis, Steve Hickman, John Pettygrove, Danny Soteres, Dan and Rose Spicer, and Greg Vigil.

First and second grade coaches – Tom Beauchamp, Brooks Benham, Roman Berry, Steve Conrad, Corey Hutson, and Mark Quam.

Castle Pines Athletics would also like to extend a huge thank you to season sponsors Dr. Andrew Dunbar with Castle Pines Orthodontics, Geoff Newman with Dazbog Coffee, Play it Again Sports in Castle Rock, and to the Castle Pines North Metro District for assisting with field reservations.
