Buffalo Ridge Elementary (BRE) sent a team of second and third graders to the Destination Imagination South tournament.

The BRE Brainstormers took part in an improvisational challenge, “Do or DI”. The team had 7 minutes to prepare a five minute skit about something that is in danger of extinction like the Great Barrier Reef, the Giant Panda, or a landline telephone. The Brainstormers had limited knowledge to practice and prepare in the upcoming weeks before the challenge.

“The team did well. Their challenge was to focus on saving the VCR tape. They didn’t advance to the finals, but they are excited for next year!” said Angela Carlson, mother of Brainstormer, Katie Carlson.
