Braver Angels to host town hall for school board candidates
Braver Angels is hosting a town hall for the three Douglas County School District (DCSD) Board candidate seats up for election this November. The event will be on September 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DCSD Legacy Campus, 10035 S. Peoria Street (former Wildlife Experience).
The format will allow candidates to make speeches and then small groups of politically balanced community members, with Braver Angel moderators, will discuss what they heard and formulate follow-up questions for the candidates.
Braver Angels is a national organization hoping to unite a divided America. The mission is to “bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic.”
