Brandon Linn Orthodontics, a local Castle Pines business, is partnering with the Salvation Army and the organization’s Angel Tree Program to help provide Christmas for those less fortunate this holiday season.
The holidays can be economically challenging for many and especially for those in disadvantaged and lower income families. There are homes with children who will not have any presents to open on Christmas morning.
The Angel Tree Program offers qualifying families the opportunity to fill out wish lists of needs during the holidays. Then, organizations like Brandon Linn Orthodontics adopt a tree that is filled with wishes written on paper angel gift tags. The tree is placed in a high traffic area and as people pass the tree they are able to take an angel and grant a wish.
According to the Salvation Army, there is an increase in the number of children who may not have presents waiting under the tree on Christmas morning this year. The organization has also seen an increase in seniors who may need additional support around the holidays.
This is the second year that Brandon Linn Orthodontics has adopted an angel tree. There are more than 100 angels with wishes waiting to be granted over the next few weeks. All ages are represented from infants to senior citizens.
The process is simple; stop by the office at 361 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines. Choose an angel gift tag from the tree and purchase the gift. Then return the gift (unwrapped) and the angel gift tag to the office by December 19.
