A new eatery is open in Castle Pines North (CPN). Dubbed The Barking Goat Tavern, the establishment opened in March in the former Celtic Crossing location, 363 Village Square Lane – just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

“We have a great selection of appetizers, sandwiches and burgers, soups, salads and some great daily entrée specials,” said owner Eric Warner. “This is good, solid tavern food, and most of our items will be value priced at under 10 dollars.”

In addition to a selection of tap beers, the Barking Goat will offer a full bar and wine by the glass. The “goat room” will feature a pool table, dart boards, cozy booth seating, and live music on the weekends.

“I’ve been wanting to open something in this area,” said Warner, “and this is a great location.” Warner says he is excited about joining the Castle Pines community.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11:15 a.m. to 1:59 a.m., just to be different, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
