Ballot Information
This information has been provided by the City of Castle Pines North.
As many residents have inquired, the City is limited in its ability to disseminate information to CPN residents on pending ballot questions, which include the issue of the Urban Renewal Authority and City-Metro District dissolution/integration efforts, due to Colorado’s campaign law known as
the Fair Campaign Practices Act (FCPA).
Essentially, the FCPA forbids public resources from being used to support or oppose a candidate or pending ballot issue.
At recent City Council meetings, the City Council addressed a resolution expressing its position on the CPN Metro District dissolution/integration question, along with its positions on other ballot questions on the November ballot.
The City Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. All residents are encouraged to attend and invited to actively participate by applying to serve on one of the boards, committees, and commissions in need of citizen volunteers.
