Another successful fundraiser

The amazing women who participated in the Ladies 9 in the Pines fundraiser, including the winning golf foursome (above left) – Jen Loucks, Kristin Dodge, Mackenzie McDonald and Angela Greenhow. Special thanks to Louise Melbye and her amazing committee for a record-breaking event.

Congratulations once again to Ladies 9 in the Pines for another successful breast cancer fundraising event on September 21 at The Country Club at Castle Pines.

This year, the annual tournament and awards luncheon raised a record amount of close to $160,000 – and is still counting.  Still to come … Club General Manager Perry Kenny will shave his head!

These funds support breast cancer diagnosis, care and treatment within our own community.

The Ladies 9 in the Pines group is much more than a golf league.  When they see a great cause like this, they roll up their “pink sleeves,” and get to work.  This year’s tournament had the largest participation for a women’s event in the Club’s history.

Aside from a fun and enjoyable day, the participants walked away knowing they continue to make a difference in changing the lives of many.  For more information, visit www.rmahf.org/ladies9.html.
