Annual Philip S. Miller grants
In partnership with Douglas County, the Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) awarded 27 Philip S. Miller grants to local nonprofit organizations, totaling $185,000. DCCF partners with Douglas County government to manage its annual Philip S. Miller grant endowment. Twenty-four organizations received Competitive Community grants, while three received Senior Services grants.
DCCF works diligently to help local nonprofits of all sizes thrive in their missions. “This is how we serve our community,” said Mike Waid, Executive Director of DCCF. “We bring together partners like the County, who entrust us as stewards of their financial gifts, with worthy and vetted local Douglas County nonprofits to make a real difference in our community and help those in need.”
