An evening of jazz at Park Place

Come enjoy a free evening of big band jazz performed live by the 17-member Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) jazz band while you dine at the Park Place restaurant at The Ridge at Castle Pines North on Friday, April 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
No tickets are necessary, although reservations for the restaurant are required, as space is limited and will fill up quickly.
RCHS Director of Bands Blake Unger said he is pleased with the outreach event for the jazz ensemble and sees this as a great way to expand the knowledge about what RCHS Bands has to offer.
“Our main goals were to expose our students to a new concert environment, become better known in our area, and find a way to align our students’ hard work with the interests of our community,” stated Unger. “I’m so glad this worked out and the kids will be able to share their music. It gives them a chance to put forth a product they’ve worked really hard on,” he stated.
