A taste of … Jing restaurant

The elegance of Jing’s sleek white dining room is a stark contrast to the edgy bar area, decorated in all black.

Come and experience the yin and yang of Jing Restaurant, the upscale, modern, and sexy hot spot located in The Landmark Village Denver Tech Center.

Meaning “essence” in Chinese, Jing’s menu consists of delicious classic Chinese and Asian-fusion cuisine. You may choose to relax in the tranquil white dining room with a water wall (which is also the background of the bar in the lounge) or unravel in the mysterious dark lounge with a fire wall, either offering a place that fits your mood or style for the afternoon or evening.

Start with a smaller plate, like the Kobe Beef Sliders, Crispy Crab Cheese Rangoons, or Ahi Napoleon w/ mango pico de gallo and crispy wontons (pictured below right). Looking to have more traditional sashimi or sushi rolls? Those are available as well.

Lunch at Jing is served until 3 p.m. and includes edamame, soup, and a few entree items to choose from, including: Seabass Sandwich, Chicken Pad Thai, Crispy Honey Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken or Mongolian Beef. Dim Sum is available on Saturdays and Sundays for lunch.

For dinner you will not go wrong with choosing from one of owner Charlie Hwang’s favorites.

The Jing Kobe Burger – an absolute must to try – is served with chili aioli and sesame fries, a flavor combination like no other. It is a unique departure from the all American burger. Other favorites include Kobe on the Rock (beef thinly shaved and served on a hot stone so patrons can sear to the perfect temperature) with ponzu wasabi sauce, the Peking Roast Duck, or the Crispy Honey Shrimp and Scallops. With many different choices on the menu, any craving will be satisfied.

Unwind during “Jing Hour” everyday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (lounge and patio only) and again from 10:00 p.m. to close. Enjoy premium cocktails, sake, beer and appetizers with prices ranging from $4 to $9. Mondays, Jing offers half price bottles of selected wine.

No Jing encounter is complete without experiencing the Drunken Buddha specialty cocktail. It is a blend of Hangar One Vodka, Caravella Lemoncello, and fresh squeezed lemonade and garnished with a mysterious tongue-tingling flower known as the Buddha Button. Anyone who has ever had one will tell you it is something you have to try for yourself to understand!
