A shopping experience for a good cause
The Outlets at Castle Rock hosted its 18th annual Shopping Extravaganza on September 9. Each year, patrons purchase a ticket for the one-day event and shop guilt-free as $20 from each ticket goes back to nonprofits, some in Douglas County.
Other perks include exclusive discounts and activities, two prize-drawing tickets providing the opportunity to win more than $60,000 in retailer gift cards and prizes, a VIP wine tasting and catered lunch.
This year, the event raised $40,000 supporting 17 organizations including the Castle Rock Senior Activities Center, Help & Hope Center and Douglas County Canine Rescue.
