A day to celebrate

The Timber Trail Elementary move-a-thon fundraiser is one of the biggest money raising events for the school. This year’s event took place in a virtual setting where students were encouraged to log any and all physical activity from hula hooping to bike riding and all hours of organized sports in between. Donations and pledges surpassed the school’s financial goal. Students logged 43,000 active minutes for a total of 716 hours total activity during the virtual event. Although the event took place prior to the winter break, the much-anticipated Kona Ice celebration took place earlier this month and was worth the wait for the students.
